Vodafone India is planning to launch its 4G services in a phased manner in the Karnataka circle. The services will cover Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Hubli as a part of the first phase of the rollout. The operator will launch these services in the 1800 MHz band.
The operator has invested around Rs 7.25 billion during April-September 2015 in the Karnataka circle on network upgradation and expansion of the high-capacity fibre network to facilitate internet connectivity in the region.
Earlier, the operator had announced that it will launch its 4G services in the Kerala and Mumbai circles by December 2015.
